Shame’s goal is to distance you from God, disconnect you from your God given purpose and destiny-and eventually, destroy you. You will never hear Jesus say, “Shame on you.” Instead, Jesus says, “Shame on ME” as He goes to the Cross. Jesus bore your shame.
