There are times of trial in your life when you cry out to God from the heat of your very tired and anguished heart – for your family, for your own state, for those things that mean the most to you, and all you can say is, “This is just not normal, God… this is too much.”

But then God.
in His gentleness calls out, “Come to me,”
and begins to heal the brokenness.

And in His sovereignty and sheer strength, plows through your enemies of fear, despair, death, and hopelessness to the point where you don’t even know what you were so afraid of in the first place.

He’s divine in that way.
…and the cool thing is all I have to do is come to Him, gear in, and praise.

“At the very moment they began to sing and give praise, the LORD caused the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir to start fighting among themselves, and they were defeated.” [II chronicles 20:22]

This is how I war.
